After a rather filling dinner last night I woke up knowing something light yet filling was exactly what I needed.
Smoothies are a great way to achieve this. The options are endless when it comes choosing what to blend. With the right ingredients a smoothie can be full of lots of good stuff and nutrition, without the sometimes not so great taste!
This is my favourite! I love the taste, the texture and how freaking easy it is to make. It taste fresh and clean with a hint of sweet, yummmm. I always feel rejuvenated and full of health after a glass.
Here is what you need:
1 leaf of kale
1 cup spinach
roughly 1 cup of coconut milk
1 cup frozen mango {frozen is important if you want that cold and thick smoothie taste}
and blender
Now follow along:
Break the kale up into tiny pieces and place in a blender
Add your cups of spinach and coconut milk
Blend that baby until it is nice and smooth! No leafy chunks yuck.
Once smooth, add in the mango and hit to blend on more time!
poor the mixture into a cup and drink, slurp or spoon away!
NOTE: Dividing the blends into separate segments helps the greens to break down while avoid any unwanted chunks or blending problems.
