Here is a new fall recipe for those who love a warm drink on these cold coming days. This is my rendition [and a much healthier approach] to the ever so popular Starbucks: Chocolate Chai Tea Latte.
I constantly find myself making this in the evening, when I want something sweet and soothing.
All you need is
- Chai tea
- Almond milk [I use chocolate for this but vanilla works well too]
- Cinnamon
- Cocoa Powder
- Something to sweeten. [honey and stevia are my personals favourites]
Start by boiling water.
Once it is ready pour it into your favourite mug about 3/4 of the way, with your chai tea bag already in.
Next, take your almond milk and fill the last 1/4 of the mug.

Carefully add about 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder and stir in well.
Sprinkle cinnamon on top to your desired amount..
I recommended one or two shakes worth, when there is too much it sinks and clumps at the bottom.

Lastly add your sweetener to taste!
And there you have it, your simple, tasty and guilt free fall drink.
