Love Your Health.

Upon my arrival home from my trip I was definitely ready to re-evaluate my lifestyle. From a young age living healthy has been an essential part of my life [and yes, if you have read my previous posts you know it has also controlled my life in the past]. And while diet and exercise have had a negative impact on me once before I was able to finally achieve a happy balance. 

Let me tell you balance is key! 

After returning home from a month of okay eating habits and minimal exercise I was ready to get back to it! I love living the way I do. But it has occurred to me that living healthy is not always associated with this kind of love. In my life I have known many people that have criticized me for eating a bag of carrots rather then that bag of chip saying things like "enjoy your life" "You only live once, treat yourself". The things so many of these people don't understand is that, this is how I enjoy my life. Health and living this lifestyle is what brings me joy! I feel better about my self everyday, the benefits of much outweigh the cost. 

I have spent the last few days researching and discovering some great motivators in the way of healthy and happy living both, physically and psychologically. Some of my favourites include Gabby Bernstein and Kris Car. All these great individuals have a similar out look on there healthy lifestyles, finding it empowering and fulfilling. 

I think it is important that this message is shouted out loud and clear. Being healthy does not mean my life is dull and boring,  and I definitely don't dread meals. My life choices have made me feel happy, vibrant and appreciative of every meal [I freaking love the food I eat].
